Based on the highly efficient SolarWall system, the technology has been engineered for roof settings and applications where a traditional wall-mounted system is not feasible. SolarDuct uses similar technology as the original SolarWall to reduce on-site energy costs by heating ventilation air before it enters the air-handling units. The patented system of an all-metal collector panel is designed for flat-roof commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. SolarDuct can also be used for PV/thermal cogeneration to reduce the return-on-investment timeframe for a PV system.
